Dalileo, Heirloom Criollo Cacao Nibs

Description

Discover the rare essence of the world’s most prized cacao variety, delivered in crunchy nib form, perfect for your mind, body and spirit.

Dalileo is rooted in a family-owned farm in Guatemala’s Polochic Valley (Finca El Porvenir), where abandoned coffee land was transformed into a vibrant cacao forest, dedicated to the revival of 100% heirloom Criollo cacao.

Dalileo nibs are exceptional because ...

  • The cacao trees grow in a biodiverse, shade-rich agroforestry system that respects nature’s rhythms, allowing the beans to mature fully and retain their medicinal potency.

  • Each bean is hand-selected for the white-to-light coloured Criollo variety, among the rarest cacao types on the planet.

  • After harvest, natural fermentation, sun-drying and minimal processing protect the delicate flavour profile: smooth, aromatic, less bitter.

  • These nibs deliver the full richness of the bean, cocoa butter, potent antioxidants, deep earthy-forest notes and vibrant mineral tones.

Product Snapshot:

Each bite invites you to feel the roots, the forest floor, the canopy, the regeneration. In other words: cacao that says “Remember you are earth.”

Good to know

Dalileo produces heirloom Criollo cacao, the rarest and most prized cacao variety in the world.

Only ≈ 3–5 % of global cacao is Criollo.

What makes it unique?
  • Very low bitterness
  • Elegant, floral, aromatic
  • Creamy natural fats
  • High medicinal properties + gentle energetic profile
  • Energetic profile: Deeply grounding, wild, primal, earthy, feels like drinking a rainforest

Dalileo grows their Criollo in an agroforestry / permaculture forest, mimicking the natural jungle ecosystem.

It’s a true “bean-to-forest-to-bar” operation.

Ceremonial Cacao

Ceremonial cacao is more than a drink, it is a lineage of devotion, craft and earth wisdom.

Our collection brings together three extraordinary makers who honour cacao in its purest, most ancestral form.

Ruk’u’x U’lew, “Heart of the Earth,” is a 100 % Mayan women-owned collective from Lake Atitlán. Their cacao is slow-crafted by hand with songs, stories and fire, a deeply grounding, heart-opening expression of Mayan tradition.

Keith’s Cacao is the legacy of the Chocolate Shaman, a mystic who spent decades selecting and hand-inspecting each bean to preserve cacao’s full medicinal power. His philosophy is simple: cacao is a doorway to consciousness, clarity and heart awakening.

Dalileo grows rare heirloom Criollo on a regenerated forest farm in Alta Verapaz. Their cacao is bold, wild and alive, born from permaculture, biodiversity and a commitment to reforesting the land through cacao.

Three origins, three philosophies, one shared purpose: to bring you cacao as a true plant medicine, unprocessed, intentional, and deeply alive.
