Made With Traditional Mayan Craftsmanship

To preserve the full medicinal properties of the plant, Keith’s Cacao is made using slow, ancestral methods. The beans are wood-fire roasted by local experts whose knowledge of “perfect roasting” has been passed down through generations. After roasting, every single bean is hulled and inspected by hand, twice, to ensure absolute purity and remove any beans that are imperfect.

This level of precision is rare in the cacao world and gives Keith’s Cacao its unmistakable smoothness, clarity, and gentle potency.

Keith’s cacao traditionally sources from smallholders in Guatemala and sometimes Belize, using what is generally classified as Trinitario or Trinitario-dominant hybrids.

Trinitario = a natural cross between Criollo and Forastero.

It blends Criollo's flavour & subtlety, and Forastero's strength & resilience.
